Are Cysts during pregnancy normal?
What has your doctor said about it? I have been told that usually cysts on the ovaries are not harmful to the baby, but they may do monthly ultrasounds to make sure it's not growing or putting any stress/pressure on the baby. I know someone who had one and it was painfull from time to time but then it just went away on it's own as quickly as it came. Trust your doctor, and most importantly, relax! That is the best thing you can do for you AND baby
Reply:At around 4-6 weeks, my OB did an ultrasound and said I had a cyst on one of my ovaries because of the pregnancy. I never had any pain though. If you're concerned about it, call your doctor.
Reply:No cysts are not normal, yes you could lose your baby! If you know you have a cyst then you must already have been to the doctor. I hope it can be resolved easily.
Reply:probably not normal but ive had a complicated pregnancy, 3 bartholin cyst, if you know what this is, its not pretty and not comfortable. Your ob will take all necessary procedures to make sure you have a happy and healthy baby. Ill pray for you.
