Why would a pregnancy test and a bladder infection come back negative and the doctors can only say to stay away from caffenine? They found an ovarian cyst on the right side that they say is really small and will go away on its own. But then why call and tell me a day after a pregnancy test came back negative to stay away from caffenine. Please help me I am getting irrated at the doctors because I still feel like crap and I have for over a month and I told them that.
These are the symptoms: tired, sore breast, heartburn, a period that lasted only two days and was very light which is not normal for me (I have been heavy for the last 13 years and pass tissue every month but not this month), hot sweats, nausea really bad, and feeling really sick and out of it. PLEASE HELP!!!
I would have conceived from August 22 to August 29.
Ovarian Cysts or other reasons!!!!?
Because too much caffiene can not only aggravate Ovarian Cysts, but it also is being linked to some of the causes recently. Many studies have shown that women who follow a caffiene-free diet, have had serious progress with their cysts shrinking. That is why it is IMPORTANT to stay away from the caffiene.
A lot of your symptoms described there can be explained by your Ovarian Cyst. There's no reason to be irritated with your Doctors as they have diagnosed you and are giving you the right information that you should truly follow.
If your tests came back negative for the bladder infection then you don't have one. But the cyst may be pushing up against your bladder causing similar symptoms. Honestly look up some information on changing your diet to help shrink the cyst but only follow what you check with your doctors on.
Reply:I don't think you're pregnant. The caffeine must make the bladder infection worse by dehydrating you.
The yucky symptoms can be from a bladder infection too. Take your medication and see how you feel after that.

Well, it must be the cyst then. Look up some info on cysts on the internet and see if caffeine causes them to increase in size or something. When you're pregnant the doctor does not make a point of telling you to stay away from caffeine. That is just too random.
Reply:If the doctor says it is a cyst and not a pregnancy he is probably right. I had two cysts at one point and seriously thought I was pregnant. After the first popped, and that's what it did, popped and released, I went in because I knew something was irregular. They did tests and said it was a cysts that had popped on its own and that I had another that would go away. The doctors were right, and after a month and a half of feeling pregnant, I went back to normal....Just hang in there...
Reply:If you were pregnant, the test would have shown it. The doctors probably did an ultrasound scan too when they found that ovarian cyst. If you want some additional proof, take a home pregnancy test. They might have told you to stay away from cafein because it tends to make people nervous and jittery and the symptoms you have might be psychological. I have also felt that way when I was very anxious about something. Are you anxious about getting pregnant?
