How do I tell if the red swollen bump on my eyelid is a cyst/chalazion or spider/ant bite.?
If it is a chalazion, you'll have it through sympathy on your other eyelid after a while. You shouldn't wait for that, it's better to go to an ophthalmologist as soon as you can and you can spare a lot of discomfort and pain. I waited to long and after the operation I had it on the other eyelid too. So I needed a second operation. The eye sicknesses have this interesting habit to move from sick eye to the healthy one.
Reply:Go to the doctor. Could be pink eye or even Chlamydia. Seriously ... get it checked out. Chlamydia can make you go blind.
