How long does it take to get over an operation to remove a cyst?

Or does it depend on where it is and the size etc?

How long does it take to get over an operation to remove a cyst?
I think it depends on where and size. I have heard of surface cysts being fine in a matter of a day or two, but I know that ovarian cysts or others require a more invasive procedure. I would look more at the procedure than the cyst removal.
Reply:i'm 18 and had two cyts removed from my right ovary last november. given the pain that i was in before i had the operation, the recovery period was fine. i was rather sick for 48 hours after the general anaesthetic and all the pain relief. when i was left home i rested for a week or so and i was grand. i did find it difficult going from a standing position to a sitting position and vice versa. just take it easy. then again i suppose it depends on how big the cyst is and where in the body it is. good luck xx
