Is it normal with developing breasts before a menstrual cycle to have a lump in one? perhaps a cyst?

could it be from not wearing a bra?

Probably not. Breasts are full of glands %26amp; ducts, so more than likely, one of those is the lump you're feeling.

If you've never had one (and it's likely you haven't if you're pre-pubescent), and you don't have a gynecologist go talk to your family doctor and ask him to do a breast exam and to teach you how to do a self-exam - something we girls should all be doing on at least a monthly basis. :)

There's a 99.9% chance you're perfectly normal %26amp; healthy.
Reply:NO, get it checked out right away.
Reply:I would go see the doctor.
Reply:i can only tell w my lips,,where are you?
Reply:yes, if you know that the lump comes when you get your period and then goes away then it is probably normal for you. but you have to be very careful to keep an eye on it.

my sister gets lumps during her cycle, but she knows that she is getting them and checks herself regularly to be sure that there hasn't been a change.

in fact, if this is something new, i would probably talk to my doctor about it to be absolutely sure.
Reply:yes they are breast bulbs.
Reply:NO please go to the doctor
Reply:You may just have very dense breasts that can feel lumpy while developing. But have your doctor do an exam to be certain. Better safe than sorry.
