Reply:Anything is possible, but a cyst is a sac of fluid, and a hard lump is more suspicious for cancer. Not as worrisome, but should most likely be evaluated and treated as necessary - it could be an infection, for example, and an infection can also be life-threatening if it's ignored. Best luck.
