I went to a gyno today after my normal nurse practioner saw a little lesion at my regular, yearly visit. The nurse practioner actually told me she thought it was cancer. I don't have any STD's and my pap was normal. But anway, the doctor told me it was nothing more than a cyst has formed where they had to stich me up after I tore when my son was born. He said there is definately no cancer, but if the cyst gets to bothering me to come back and he can drain it or cut it off. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this or has had this. I've tried looking it up, but haven't had much luck. Thanks!
Cysts......?
Actually that sounds about right. I have known quite a few people who have had cysts in different areas of the body. My mom had them in her wrists. The top of her wrist would swell to the size of a small orange before they would have to cut them out. She had them appear several times even after having them surgically removed. It can happen in any part of the body. Ovarian cysts are also very, very common. Good luck!
Reply:well, cysts as ovarian cysts. it causes belly pain. if it lasts longer, it will tell you that you possibly have cysts
if you take birth control pills, it may help you to control your sexual urges.
in addition, cysts has lot of risk for surgery. you will experience pains that lasts 3-6 weeks after post-surgery
if it is worse-case sceraino, doctor will have no choice to remove your ovary out of your body. and it possibly lead to hysterectomy.
many women between 20-40 year old who have hysterectomy due to few reasons to cause women's health problem
Reply:yes its normal, do as the last doctor suggested. if it bothers you he will remove it, and if you ask him to he will send it in for testing to make sure it isnt cancerous. it will cost more but most ins will cover it or most of the cost for that test.
Reply:I would trust the Doctor in this situation. If this cyst appears to be getting bigger and or if it is sore and uncomfortable, then I would asked to have it removed. It may go away on it's own.
