Ovarian Cysts?

I am having a lot of pain on my right side. I had a 6cm cyst removed last year. It hurts to sit, stand, and walk. What should I do? Everybody thinks that it is one of my cysts and I am thinking that maybe they are right. Please help me.

I agree with both above. Go to the ER or your doc; which ever is open right now. Don't play guessing games with your health; please take care of yourself. Ovarian cysts are extremely painful when they rupture; I know this from experience.
Reply:You should definitely go to the emergency room if your doctor's office isn't open right now. Though it could be a cyst, you also want to make sure to rule out other conditions such as appendicitis or an ectopic pregnancy (both of which require immediate treatment.)
Reply:You should see a doctor. I also had a cyst, but when I started having really bad pain I went to the doctor and it turned out to be something else that could have been life threatening. Never wait until it hurts so bad that you have the symptoms that you do. Good Luck!
Reply:Go see the doctor it may be getting ready to rupture. I had an ovarian cyst over a year ago that the doctors just kept playing the wait and see game with it not know how large it really was when they did a scan they said 1 cm on my left ovary well when the pain got to how you are describing yours they did exploritory laproscopic surgery and it had killed my right ovary and pushed everything over my cyst was the size of a softball 2 times the normal size of your uterus. Needless to say my whole ovary had to be removed. it was damaged to where there was no blood flow to it anymore. It was a corpus lueteum cyst that went crazy. Hope all goes well and please go to the doc it could also be appendicitis.
Reply:You need to either go to your doc. if you can bear the pain for a few more days, or go to the er if it is unbearable. Since you have a hx of cysts it is very likely that that could be the case. Cysts are a pain, but once they rupture or are removed you go back to normal as you already know. Since the pain is on your right side, you really need to go to the er because it could poss. be a lingering appendix issue. if you are running any type of fever pack up and head in asap.
