How do you know what you have if you have brown discharge before and after your period and a vaginal cyst?

The brown discharge is usually dried/old blood. But if you have a cyst, then visit your obgyn regularly to keep an eye on it. I had one that exploded when I was 12 and I almost died from the poison, so take care of yourself. Also, there's a great herb that you can drink as a tea to reduce cysts. I don't remember what it is but I use to use it and it did wonders for me. Just ask for a reference book for natural remedies at a health food store.

If, not they continue to grow. In that case, you may need to have it surgically removed. Make sure you check in with your doctor every few months if it has not gone away.
