Ovarian cysts?

hi, i really hope someone can help me out. I went to the hospital finally last night, ive been asking questions on here alot about the lower right hand side stomach pain i've been having and i just got fed up w/ it and went to er. I was ther efor 9 hours (dred) but they did a ultrasound (not fun 1st one im only 20) and an internal ultrasound (not so bad) and found this:

endometiral cyst from focal ademomyosis. numerous ones on right ovariers cyst + larger something can't read the writing cyst. It should be followed up for polycystical ovarian disease.

Like i said im only 20, i started having this right hand pain since i was 13, so go figure i was menstrating, i have HORRIBLE deathly menstral periods, but im on birthcontrol to contain those now. If a doctor or a female that knows about this could help me understand? Can i have babies? do i have cancner? will i get cancner? im really scared =(

thanks, also was told i have a bladder infection.

Ovarian cysts?
The fact that you have an endometrial cyst on your ovary means that you have endometriosis. The good thing about endometriosis is that it is unlikely to cause death, you may feel like you are dieing or even want to die to end the pain. It also does not cause cancer and you may have a reduced chance of fertility but it does not mean that you are infertile.

Endometriosis happens when the tissue that lines your womb starts growing in other parts of the body. Commonly on the ovary or in the peritoneal cavity. This tissue swells with blood each month and then sheds it, this can cause extreme pain or if it is enclosed an endometrial cyst can develop and grow.

There is lots of advice available and although there is no known cure for endometriosis there is plenty of help available on the web and elsewhere. My advice would be to discover as much about the disease as you can, there are plenty of web sites and I can recommend a book "Endometriosis a key to healing and fertility through nutrition" by Dian Shepperson Mills and Michael Vernon, available from www.amazon.co.uk
Reply:my family has a history of polycystic ovary syndrome. i have all teh symptoms right now and i'm only thirteen but i ahven't been checked. my mom who is a nurse told me that you might be able to have children but it's not certain, because my mom was able to have me, even after her surgery. It's not really a cancer if it's just cysts, but they're dangerous if they're malignant because they'll get worse and your endometrium will burst if the tumor grows. ask if its malignant or benign. if its benign you have a better chance of getting over pcos. if malignant, your doctor will have to tell you what you need. relax and don't be afraid. :)
Reply:If you have regular periods, it's not likely PCOS - unless the blood is brown. You don't ovulate with PCOS but sometimes still have periods, the blood is just old (brown)

I have PCOS, ovarian cysts and endometriosis.

A lot of times the ovarian cysts pop themselves. If they get to a certain size, the doctor will perform a surgery to drain them. Mine were nearly an inch in size and the pain was unbearable.

I also have intestinal problems such as nausea and diarrhea, some people vomit the entire time during their period.

It's not cancer and you can still have babies. You do need to take birth control until you're ready for kids though, it'll stop the progression of the disease.

You may just have to take some pills or shots to have babies, no big deal. :)
