I asked yesterday about 2 strange pea sized bumps inside the skin around my vaginal area (Near the clitorus)
The bumps are hard, they basically feel like a frozen pea! in my skin! They are VERY painful, and the area around it is slightly itchy.
It is NOT discolored, there is no blood or any kind of discharge around the area (no puss or anything) ...
I got very nervous thinking that it was herpes. I researched herpes and it does NOT look like herpes.(At least not the pictures I saw)...
After doing some research about cysts, i THINK that it might be cysts! I talked to my mom about it, my grandma, AND i have a doctors appointment on Monday. My mom said that shes gotten cysts before..and my grandma also suggested that it is a cyst!..
If it IS a cyst, what happens? I know that sometimes they need to be removed - how does that procedure work (again, it is not INSIDE me, its on the outside near the clitorus).. also, what can I do to ease the pain in the mean time?
Cysts around the vaginal area??
As for it being a cyst or not being a cyst...let your doctor make that call.
To temporarily ease the pain, take some Ibuprofen (Advil) or Tylenol %26amp; try not wearing anything tight or form fitting. You might try a warm bath, if nothing else, it will soothe your nerves. If warmth doesn't help, switch to cold. See what works for you.
Good luck sweetie!
Reply:Well, if you suspected herpes, I assume that you have had sex, so it still might be an STD. If it is a cyst, they will probably prescribe medicine and/or remove the cysts
Reply:go to your doctor, im sure its not herpes. if it is a cyst, your doctor will drain it a little then put u on antibiotics and it will go away within a week...as far as the pain goes, take some asprin and try to lay/sit in comfortable positions=]
