I have not bumped my head on anything in the past few months, so does anyone have any idea what it could be?

If it is not red or inflamed that yeah it could be a cyst. If it doesn't go away in a few days or becomes painful you should have a doctor look at it.
Reply:cover it with a gob of cheez whiz, sprinkled with the powder from mac and cheese and wrap it in cheese cloth while you eat a grilled cheez and some cheese milk.
