Ovarian cysts, depo, and ovulation?

I have done some research with no luck so now I'm going to ask. Heres my story October of 2006 was my last depo shot I have had normal periods since Feb. Now on Oct 23 I started my period after I was 4 days late, and I went to the ER because I had pain. I use to get cyst all the time so I thought that what it was and I was right. 2 days ago I went to the OBGYN they did an internal ultra sound and found a 1" cyst on my right ovary. That night I went home and used an ovulation test and for the first time it was positive, then yesterday it was also positive. The doctor told me that the cyst could be the one that makes a baby. Has anyone every had this problem? Do you think the ultra sound is the reason I got positive or the cysts? I had not been tracking my ovulation in a couple months. He also talked about putting my on Clomid in 2 months if I still have no luck. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Hi, cysts are common in many women... But are you sure you do not have PCOS? Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome??? If you are having trouble ovulating, then you may have to go on a Fertility drug... I am on Clomid myself, this will make my third month. And I will tell you this... If you have PCOS you will NOT get an accurate reading on the ovulation tests.... Cysts are generally a sign of lack of ovulation. I wish you all the best, but I would be getting some facts from my Dr. and ask him many questions......
